SERC Pedagogic Service Workshop

This workshop will introduce particpants to the SERC Pedagogic Service and develop examples of physics teaching activities based on proven pedagogic techniques. These examples provide details necessary for other physics and astronomy educators to easily utilize the activities in their classrooms.

PSSC 50th Anniversary

In 1956 MIT physics professor Jerrold Zacharias formed PSSC, the Physical Sciences Study Committe. In 2006, the AAPT is recognizing this effort through a series of retrospectives by a few of the participants, teachers, and students impacted by the products of the PSSC.
